Trough its owned subsidiary OVMB (Oostvlaams Milieubeheer) Eiffage Benelux operates a category I landfill site and a newly expanded solidification plant in the port area of Ghent. This activity focuses on the processing and storage of industrial waste: heavily contaminated soil, residual waste from incinerators, shredder waste, asbestos waste, etc.
Industrial cleaning is another specialty of Eiffage Benelux in Belgium as well as abroad: chemical treatment of plant, high pressure and vacuum cleaning, cleaning of live electrical installations, asbestos removal and removal and transportation of hazardous waste. Romarco, the specialist subsidiary, collaborates with many other companies of the Group, either in short joint ventures or as a subcontractor. The company has a range of industrial services and offers solutions for specific cleaning problems.
